Dark Mode Light Mode

The Flatshare

It’s a light hearted rom com spanning 6 episodes with drama, comedy, romance, heartbreak and treachery. It has nice realistic plot points that all come full circle and connect up well. An innocent convicted alleged criminal trial, a crazy ex trying to rekindle, reuniting an elderly gay couple, a magazine writer job on the line, finance issues to afford lawyers… these are just examples of the plots where on paper you would think huh but it bonded well.

There are some really likeable characters and some not so likeable but nonetheless you like them all. It’s quite an addictive show and 6 episodes was just the right amount. At points it does feel like it’s dragging and quite slow but it’s manageable. It’s a predictable story but it’s the journey thats enjoyable here. Of course, some things could have been developed more but no complaints from me. Yes, yes, I see you book readers in the comments asking me to the read the book… I won’t, I have nothing against books, it just won’t happen so you tell me what I’m missing or better yet what they are missing in the comments and let’s compare.

Who was your favourite character? Can you remember when you had a Justin in your life? No? then maybe you are the Justin in someone else’s life… does this show need a season 2? React and comment below…
